May 2014! New Month! New Calendar! New Podcast! Old Socks! I'm Workin' On It!

New York City's premiere resource for classic film screenings in the metropolitan area. Offering reviews, recommendations, venues and a host of links keeping classic film and the silver screens alive.

The May '14 calendar of NYC's repertory film shenanigans is live (click that thang on yer right to dig in!), the new podcast providing a comprehensive overview of the month is posted, and my Facebook and Twitter accounts have been updated accordingly. I've never been this organized in my entire life. Now if I can only remember where I put the cat.

Lots to get excited about this month, from retrospectives of directors like Mizoguchi and Fassbinder to actresses Ellen Burstyn and Mary Pickford, to the 50th anniversary celebration of a Kubrick masterpiece, to whatever organ-harvesting hijinks Anthology Film Archives might be up to. It's a busy 31 days, and the season's just getting started. Make sure you check back with this page routinely to keep apprised of the lastest updated bookings on the classic film scene in the 5 boroughs and just beyond! Excelsior, knuckleheads!
