Today's Pick? Why of course it's the return of Film Forum's equivalent of Joe Camel, a device invented and implemented for the sole purpose of attracting and addicting the young. In this example, however, its only unhealthy side effect is a potential predilection for the company of naught but the celluloid-spun. And hey, I turned out okay! Okay, mostly okay. Look I get a few complaints about not returning phone calls and missing funerals. Like you're perfect? Wow, fine, the heck with y'all! I don't need any of you, I'll just dive into my DVD collection and spend some quality time with right okay the irony just hit me I'm my own worst example.
Steven Spielberg's RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK unspools today at 11am and 11:15am at Film Forum as kickoff to a brand new and most welcome season of Film Forum Jr. I'm bringing friends. I have friends! Don't look at me like that!
