Today's Pick? Easy. It's a chilly December Sunday, anticipating the spiritual uplift and warming of the heart's more unvisited chambers that this time of year never fails to thankfully provide. What better expenditure of a Cinegeek's time than attending a classic Christmas yarn's unspooling in a most enchanting town, within a most enchanted venue?

George Seaton's MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET unspools at the Tarrytown Music Hall tonight as part of their wonderful Xmas classic series. Why? The three M's: Maureen, the Macy's parade, and Maybe I'm not as good a lawyer as I thought.

P. S. We're fully entwined in winter's embrace, and believe it or not some of our fellow NY'ers have still yet to be made whole in the wake of the 2012 storm. Should you be feeling charitable please visit the folks at OccupySandy.net, follow their hammer-in-hand efforts to restore people's lives, and donate/volunteer if you have the inclination and availability. Be a collective mensch, Stockahz!
